Well folks this morning Loulou & Hodge have been arrested by the compound police (me) and are spending time thinking about a brutal attack that they took part in around 7:30 AM. A brown field mouse minding his /or her own business was overcome by two corgi snack breath dogs. upon arrival the compound police officer (me) found two suspects, residents of the compound fighting over which half of the mouse they will keep. Involved in EMS as I am I was able to declare the defenseless mouse dead. burial was on site, and Loulou & Hodge were taken into custody. Sentence was passed already as to be consistent to our constitution of a fair and speedy trial. They have been confined to the fenced in back yard for a period of today unless supervised on leash.

CANNOT LET SUMMER GO
Well Dad can not let summer go. This morning he whipped up an artist trading card with a beach scene, it is a little corgi laying on the beach as the waves are crashing in, and he put it in a nice glass frome that Cathy Santarsiero gave him when she visited this summer. Now guess where it is, on EBAY, yes sir he has it up for auction. link to the auction His ski corgi painting is selling so we guess he just had to paint something else, but we have a feeling he cannot let go of summer. The leaves on the trees are changing colors, it is getting colder out at night, and soon the days, but yet he is still focused on the beach. well for what it is worth we like it, and the nice glass frome makes it look better. On a lighter note, we (the corgamatics) are having a blast playing frisbee, and hodge with his basketball is still playing soccer like there is no tomorrow! well thats our little update for the blog, we love you!

NEW ART
Hello world,
Loulou & Hodge say hello, they are having the time of their lives waiting on the snow, I say that jokingly because actually, as any corgi owner knows, 4 inches of snow can create a situation where a corgi could be stranded for days, even if it is 2 feet from the front door. Hopefully you laughed and didnt take me seriously, although i guess it could be true. We have been doing alot of painting fantasy corgi things and we ( I say we because Lou lou & Hodge are always with me wherever i sit, walk etc.) just got finished painting a cool 4"X12" canvas with a few corgis on a ski trip possibly in the alps? it is just another just for fun painting which we have on ebay, we try to make some money to buy delicious corgi snacks, pay for the canvas, but most importantly we try to get as much as we can to send a donation to corgiaid. we usually send 10-20 percent to them to help out all the corgis that have been abused, or have no home, or just need maybe a cart to help them get around in their old age. well here is a picture of our new painting, and a link if you would like to look at it on ebay. click here to go t the auction
we also have a store at etsy.com right now there is only one painting, but it is pretty unique if you would like to see it click here to go to our etsy store.
Here at the old Corgi compound hope you have a nice fall, and enjoy the colors that fall bring.

IT COULD ONLY BE PUPPY LOVE
Dad Has been at it again, and this time we think something strange has been added to his coffee. He was mumbling something about Norman Rockwell, and little spoons, then we saw what he was thinking about out loud, he was looking at a book he has with Norman Rockwell portraits. He started sketching out the picture of "Little Spooners" the kids sitting on the bench with a puppy under it while the sun is setting. We all knew he was not going to put humans on the bench, and sure enough he draws the funniest looking corgis hugging
.Best of Norman Rockwell
Now here comes the best part he paints the picture it looks like Norman Rockwells, no background, and he left the dog out. Wham he starts painting the background black, and it was all weird from there .Black skies, stars, meteor burning into the atmosphere. The sunset became the moon, as bright as light. We are not sure where his mind was going, but he was laughing about it looking like a black light poster. Well when it was all said and done, that is what it is.
A painting....
A Black light painting
And even a glow in the dark painting
Well as strange as this painting is Dad likes it, Thinks it is a one of a kind. He is trying to sell it on Ebay this week and says if it doesnt sell, it is a sign that it is meant to be kept. We will see.
Heres a link to the auction. painting auction
Word of advice, dont bid on this because dad really wants to keep it.

THE CORGAMATICS LIVE ON
Yes we live on, we dont post much as nothing is exciting these days except to be alive and pressing through the barriers this wonderful economy has put in place for us. Lou lou & Hodge have been relaxing most of the time while I heal up from my back injury, some people heal quick, and I heal slow I guess. Walks are great with the corgamatics but there is so much more we could do. I ((me) dad) have been painting to pass the time by, and to help generate some extra income, as well as support Corgiaid. I have donated 10% of the proceeds from my paintings to Corgiaid. It may not be much, but if it helps buy food, or render medical care for the corgis well it is all worth it. please look them up at www.corgiaid.org well this is just a note to say hello and let you know we are alive . Happy Fall to everyone.

SUMMER IS FOR VISITING
Hello everyone, Recently My wife and I had a visit for a week or so with Cathy Santarsiero from Reinwood corgis . How fitting seeing Loulou & Hodge are Reinwood corgis. Also tagging along was her daughter and Stella, (Loulou & Hodges mother) and Aunt Amy. We had fun relaxing and chatting about this and that. The last day they were here Cathy broke out the paints and canvas' and we has a little paint fest. Although I do not have many pics of this Lil event it was fun. I have not painted for years until recently, and it was fun to make a little 3X4 ocean scene, Cathy worked on some of her commissioned work, and the corgis, well they just hung around. It was Hot and humid but having company made it cool! (get it, COOL? forget it) so here is a pic or two from the Corgamatic compound on Cape Cod. Enjoy the summer, your friends, and most importantly enjoy who you are..

GIVE US SUN!
Corgamatics waiting for the sun. |
It has been lousy here on cape cod this week, so we have been bumbed out. It seems all we do is lay around waiting for the sun to come out!. Today dad made some junk art, and he let us hang out in the garage while he welded up this silly looking woman carrying an umbrella. We do not understand why he makes this stuff but it is very amusing watching him fumble around with metal and use the machine that makes bright light to make everything stick. anyways above is a picture of us waiting for the sun. Hope everyone is having a nice spring.

CORGAMATICS
That is what we are "Corgamatics" Dad named us and we don't really care what he calls us, all we care about is that he is here with us with MOM. There is just something about how much we love our mom and dad that is hard to explain from a corgi perspective. no matter how many socks we steal and hide, how many tiny pieces of paper we make into smaller pieces, no matter how much we bark at little birds that taunt us just off the deck or how much we shed and create a blizzard of corgi hair drifts.Mom and Dad hug us and love us with unconditional love.we cant give much but what we can give is a plethora of kisses and a whole lot of close snuggles Why we are corgamatics? we don't know, but we are proud to be Corgamatics and think our mom and dad are the most awesome corgi parents any corgi can ever have. Dad says he is getting on putting up pics on the blog so you can see how we have grown up over the past year, he has also made a promise to put a little better effort into the blog, but we dont want him to do too much because he says he has to have back surgery, we have a feeling when that happens jumping all over him is going to be like when mom has surgery "OFF LIMITS" well until later on have a nice spring, we have some running around the house to do before it is bed time cya later friends

HELLO SPRING
We are having fun getting to run around in the yard with no snow, WOOHOO! Now if dad can get his lazy body in motion and walk us it would be awesome, he still claims his back hurts, Ha FAKER! If there was a corona down on the railroad tracks he would go get it. All kidding aside, Spring is here even though it is cold, everyone has a cold and sniffling, except us super corgamatics, all we have is an appetite! Dads planting seeds for the garden and they are actually growing, wait til they get outside haha. We are doing great and need a bath as usual, but that is because the rain makes it muddy out. Sun is soon to rule the skies and the swimming pool will be out and long days and walks, and swimming in the ocean and ponds, can you howl with us? HOOOOWWWLLL! : ) enjoy spring folks, we will be enjoying it.

HISTORY
What a title! History, when you think of history we all think of the Romans, Jesus, the Revolutionary war, assassinations, and government screw ups. History has a way of reminding us of the past, but also allows us to close the book and forget about it when ever we want. So here in Corgi land on Cape cod. I am posting this picture of Loulou & Hodge having a blast running around the yard in the snow. Why? Because the way I look at it, winter is almost HISTORY! with all the foul weather we have had, snow, rain, sleet, snow, and more snow we are all looking forward to spring and the white stuff to be "History". With every second that passes history is made and to be encouraging to all, this winter is almost gone leaving it a chapter in our lives to reflect upon, but also giving us the opportunity to close the book and enjoy the day and forget about it. With great anticipation we are looking forward to the bulbs bursting, the trees flowering and the grass greening, How about you? I am sure you are also.
All our best.
All our best.
