HELLO SPRING

We are having fun getting to run around in the yard with no snow, WOOHOO! Now if dad can get his lazy body in motion and walk us it would be awesome, he still claims his back hurts, Ha FAKER! If there was a corona down on the railroad tracks he would go get it. All kidding aside, Spring is here even though it is cold, everyone has a cold and sniffling, except us super corgamatics, all we have is an appetite! Dads planting seeds for the garden and they are actually growing, wait til  they get outside haha. We are doing great and need a bath as usual, but that is because the rain makes it muddy out. Sun is soon to rule the skies and the swimming pool will be out and long days and walks, and swimming in the ocean and ponds, can you howl with us? HOOOOWWWLLL! : ) enjoy spring folks, we will be enjoying it.

HISTORY

What a title! History, when you think of history we all think of the Romans, Jesus, the Revolutionary war, assassinations, and government screw ups. History has a way of reminding us of the past, but also allows us to close the book and forget about it when ever we want.  So here in Corgi land on Cape cod. I am posting this picture of Loulou & Hodge having a blast running around the yard in the snow. Why? Because the way I look at it, winter is almost HISTORY! with all the foul weather we have had, snow, rain, sleet, snow, and more snow we are all looking forward to spring and the white stuff to be "History". With every second that passes history is made and to be encouraging to all, this winter is almost gone leaving it a chapter in our lives to reflect upon, but also giving us the opportunity to close the book and enjoy the day and forget about it. With great anticipation we are looking forward to the bulbs bursting, the trees flowering and the grass greening, How about you? I am sure you are also.

NEW YEARS UNDER THE TREE

Oh my, 5 Corgis in the house all at the same time? yes it is true. Cathy & John Santarsiero arrived yesterday, corgis in tow. It was dark, cold, and they were  fatigued.  We welcomed them in for a few days of relaxation here on Cape Cod, and to help us ring in the new year. YAY! 2011 is here and the corgis got a glimpse of what the ball is all about! intensely watching Dick clark get through the countdown that in years past he would have no trouble doing, but GOD bless the man, he  valiantly  continued  the tradition, and he made it through it.  As you can see some guests have been put into administrative segregation for attitude issues Amy is in lockup for the night, and Stella,  Lou Lou & Hodges mother is resting comfortably in a room which is quiet! We are all having fun having our reunion, and hope the rest of the stay is wonderful for them before they have to head "OFF CAPE" back to the wonders the world has  for them.  HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT! uh wait is that a Christmas ending?

We Loulou and Hodge Want to wish you all a merry Christmas, it is cold outside and as you can see we are warming ourselves by the fire surrounded by snowmen which we are not allowed to tear apart. We Hope you all have wonderful experiences during this special time of year.

I promise I will put some holiday pics up of the corgamatics, life is chaotic with rehab for me and my back and my wives situation, but none the less the camera is always ready. stay tuned because on the next good day we will spread some holiday cheer! I promise?

11/25/2009 Was the date that Hodge & Loulou were born into this world. Here it is one year later (my post a little more) and they still bring joy and happiness to our hearts just like the first moment we laid our eyes on them. We has our own little celebration with them, a snack here, a snack there. A walk and even some vanilla ice cream. As you all know a CORGI is the most wonderful dog in the entire world, and we are so grateful to have them be a part of our insane lives. I am sure that Welshkins would approve of them both.  Winter is moving in on us now, and I will have some time to take videos and more pics to post here on the blog. The fall has been a consumer of time with injuries and illnesses all around. It has left the blog a wee bit empty with the happenings of our Lil guy & gal. so check on back soon and we will see what winter brings us, possibly a few corgis who get stuck in the snow? maybe a snow corgi in the yard, awashed at the base with splashes of yellow? haha we will have to see. take care everyone. we hope the holidays bring happiness to your lives.

CORGI INK

Hello everyone, it has been such a long time since I posted anything on this blog, time has been limited to do much of the things I used to do, priority one was to take care of my wife and make sure she was as comfortable as possible in all the situations she had been going through, and today I am happy to say she is doing well. I am posting a pic of Welshkins, which i had tattooed on the inside of my right forearm, we all miss him so much, but after 15 years of having him around, I just needed to have an everlasting memorial. so i chose to put him where i can see him everyday, and for the most part everyone else. It doesn't take away the love and admiration I have for Loulou and Hodge by any stretch of the imagination. I will love these guys, (well guy and gal) forever.  this pic is when it was done 5 weeks ago, it is healed up now and ready for round 2 more white a touch up here and there. well I hope you enjoy. Tattoo's may not be your thing,  but how could you not just fall in love with one of a corgi?
